VJ Apartments is a popular location for the budget minded. It is only a one minute walk to the idyllic Klong Prao Beach but with prices that are more than reasonable. Each room is equipped with cable TV, Refrigerator, Airconditioning, Double Beds and modern clean toilets. If you dont need to be right on the beach then this is definitely the place to stay. As the name suggests this is an apartment complex so you can come and go as you please but they do have a 24 hr guard for your safety. Situated on beautiful Klong Prao beach in Chai Chet this resort has some of the most stunning Thai architecture to be found anywhere. All the rooms are elegantly furnished and convey a sense of comfortable luxury that makes staying here a grand holiday experience. Deluxe rooms have designer bathrooms with hot water and modern toilets. Coconut Beach resort boasts fine dinning, great rooms and intimate friendly service. For the budget minded they provide inexpensive bungalows with a fan, toilet and bathroom. Their restaurant menu consists of both European and traditional Thai food. You can request it to be not so spicy if you wish. After you wake up you can either have a dip in the pool or walk to the beach and have a leisurely swim in the warm ocean before breakfast.It's a vacation in paradise no less. Chok Dee resort has many fascinating aspects. Firstly it is one of the few budget resorts that are right on the waters edge. Secondly they have one of the best local fishing spots right outside their front door. Mornings or evenings just throw in your line and wow ! Room prices are more than reasonable and I found all the staff to be attentive and efficient. An American breakfast is included so that's an added bonus.
