Most of the shots have been taken from the View Point in Kai Bae because it is the most accessible for those wishing to take pics of the island. Thai authorities have placed the headquarters of the tourist police here for those wishing any assistance any time. Note that there is also a Tsunami warning tower here. Even though it's been somewhat modernised compared to the rest of the island it still offers the visitor a view of Thailand in all it's splendor. Beautifull green jungle,. secluded beaches and turquoise blue water. Just around the corner you can see monkeys feeding and hosts of birds in the morning. | |

| Koh Chang Waterfalls | Description |

Klong Plu waterfall like many others is operated by the National Park Service. Consequently it is laid out with great modern amenities and kept in pristine condition at all times. Conveniently situated off the main road in a separate side road. A journey that boasts some great little Thai style houses, shops and views. By world standards Klong Plu is a small waterfall but the journey up the mountain track has many little scenic gems like crystal clear pools and wild flowers. At journeys end there is a great natural rock swimming pool that is quite deep and free of any creepy crawly bugs. It's a favorite among visitors, a great experience and well worth the trip.. 400 baht for foreigners and 20 Baht for locals. Location: Klong Prao . . Follow the signs on Koh Chang's main road. | Koh Chang Fishing Villages | Description |

Bang Bao pier is the largest and most popular of all the fishing villages here. Local authorities have improved this area immensely and consequently it has attracted a lot of new businesses. Many of the best seafood restaurants on the island which are situated here offer their guests some spectacular seafood menu choices. Crabs, Mantis Shrimp (huge), Grouper just to name a few. Of course shops abound. Everything from souvenier to clothing can be found here at reasonable prices. Dan Mai is a sleepy little village with local residents just doing their thing. Yes as you can see the sun is just starting to set in Klong Prao. It's a great place to watch sunsets. Chok Dee resort which means good luck in Thai is located here. It's a great time to just stroll along the beach and take in some of that equisite peace and tranquility that this place has to offer. You can always find some exotic shells or interesting crabs as you meander down. Every day here is like heaven. | |
