Invito's restaurant is definitely a gourmet's treat. Everything is done in a traditional fine dining experience. Service, food presentation and taste is excellent not to mention the fact that they have some great wine to supplement this fabulous feast. Of course I cannot finish this review without mentioning their totally delicious wood fired oven pizza's. You could swear you were in Italy. Pizza's are available for delivery too. Chef Ramet the owner is always in high demand by the major resorts because of his 20 years plus experience, technique, attention to detail and taste. Now you don't have to go to an expensive resort to savour this world class cuisine. He and his wife Pheun have just opened their cute and friendly little restaurant in Koh Chang Plaza. Mangiamo's menu includes dishes like Ossobucco, Salmon Ravioli and real Italian style pizza including Calzone. Fresh warm homemade bread is always included. No shortcuts on quality here ! Great chicken barbecue served and cooked in tradional Thai style. Their superb tasting chicken is marinated with Chinese herbs and slow cooked over coals for hours. Result is a truly delicious melt in your mouth chicken that has to be tasted to be believed. I'm a big fan. Another specialty of Ohn's is their Thai Salad made with papaya and blue crab which is known locally as Som Tum Pu Ma. Thai's eat this salad with a lot of chilli and spices but you can order it mild and still get the same exotic effect. As you can see from the images Ohn's has been honored and recommended by the Thai Channel TV3 for their quality of food. It's a great place to eat especially if you are on a budget.
